Some recent work

Recent work on a beautiful WENAUMET KITTEN. Now in excellent condition, this boat is for sale.

Restoration of MAJO. New keel, new floors, frame repairs, etc... A fairly intensive restoration.
We're continuing to work on a 1930 SEA BIRD YAWL, designed by Thomas F. Day

After a year in the shop and much-needed work, AMERICAN BEAUTY was relaunched last spring.

A new clear, quarter-sawn white oak transom for the 1951 Fenwick Williams catboat SPARKLE. She hit the water for the first time in decades this season.

A 1940's Radio Class sloop in for a laundry list of work after being pulled out of storage for a number of years. Back in the water with her original family.

Some past work, along with boats in our seasonal care
This 1951 Chris-Craft runabout was damaged by a fallen tree. Our repairs included a new deck section, new windshields, a number of planks replaced, and a complete stripping of the boat to bare wood. She was sanded fair, re-stained and had many coats of varnish applied.

Plank repairs and a complete refinishing of a lovely Catspaw Dinghy. We've had two Catspaws in over the past few years, one lapstrake and the other carvel.

GRAYLING, a Bunker & Ellis picnic-style boat. We did a full refastening below the waterline, along with many plank, frame and keel repairs.

BLACK CLOVER lapstrake dinghy. Cedar on oak, copper-riveted. New build.

BABY BUZZ 1929 Old Town outboard runabout. New foredeck, new electric and steering systems, new dashboard, frame and keel repair, transom repair, re-fairing... Relaunched 85 years to the day from it's original delivery. Our last project in the old shop, and still in our care.

SPARKLE made her debut after a long restoration process this season. We couldn't be happier for her owner.
ECHO, a Herreshoff 15, celebrated her 123rd season this past summer. Her owner has entrusted us with her care since the days of the old shop.
